In our modern media landscape where real courtroom dramas have increasingly been transformed into a form of entertainment, this series reflects on some of the most dramatic and memorable trials in recent history.

Tim edited the first episode, “Talk Show Murder,” directed by Tony Yacenda. It examines the murder of Scott Amedure, who was killed by Jonathan Schmitz in 1995 after Amedure confessed that he had a crush on Schmitz on The Jenny Jones Show. The episode questions the role “trash TV” and homophobia played in Amedure’s death through the eyes of Amedure’s family and a cast of dynamic lawyers.
