It examines the murder of Scott Amedure, who was killed by Jonathan Schmitz in 1995 after Amedure confessed that he had a crush on Schmitz on The Jenny Jones Show. The episode questions the role “trash TV” and homophobia played in Amedure’s death through the eyes of Amedure’s family and lawyers involved.
